Adonis Divonne Résidence du Lac

Reception staff were professional and pleasant, and the residence itself was very quiet, just a short walk from Divonnes town centre. We had a very pleasant eight-night stay. Our apartment was roomy and well equipped, with a huge balcony facing the parking lot. The lake is quite a distance away, so even an apartment listed with a lake view would only have a distant view. There could have been more dishes, though. When I asked for a bigger pot, they brought one.

The beds were really comfortable. The duvets were too narrow for two people on those wide beds, though, and the linens weren't suitable. Otherwise, a practical apartment and good value.

We ended up being really pleased with our stay, despite worrying beforehand after reading the reviews. It was especially handy for getting to the airport quickly. There were three adults and a baby, and everything went smoothly for our one-night stay. The room was clean, had plenty of linens, and the kitchen had what we needed. Good value for the price.

The apartment seemed fine at first, but then I saw insects running over the floor and realized they were cockroaches. They were everywhere, which was unacceptable, so we left early the next morning. Finding the place had already been difficult because there were no signs, and arriving at night made it harder.
