The owner was very friendly, and thanks for getting the rooms arranged at such short notice. It’s a simple place, but very clean. Breakfast was cozy, with a view of the beautiful train station building.

The name “magot” is unfortunate in Australia, where it means blowfly larvae, but this place was clean, tidy and comfortable. It’s well placed for city attractions and transport. We paid €42 for a double room for two for the night, so you get what you pay for. The hosts were wonderful and made things as easy as possible for us, two people who don’t speak French.

A clean, low-priced hotel. The rooms are simple, but good for the price.
