Le Relais de la Gare

The room was large and clean, and it was quiet enough to sleep well. The hotel is right at the train station, with good service and the option of checking in late. There’s also a public electric car charging station at the station.

I paid €69 for a night and can’t see what justifies that price. The only good point was that the hotel was clean. It felt cold, ugly, and impersonal, with cheap, poor-quality furniture and a particularly uncomfortable bed. Outside, the neighborhood was noisy and felt unsafe, with shouting and fights going on until 2 a.m. At least with a Formule 1 room, you know what to expect for the price. I’d avoid this place.

It’s conveniently close to the city center, and my room was spotless and practical. The owner was welcoming and paid attention to what I needed.

I needed a room in a hurry during a fairly difficult work trip. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and welcoming the person in charge was, first on the phone and then in person. The place is comfortable and pleasant, about a minute from the station and close to all the amenities. You don’t get a full service, but the room was immaculate, spacious, and had a very well-kept bathroom and toilet. Call to check availability. You can expect a quiet, restful night.
