The heating worked well and there was plenty of space, but the apartment fell well short of what we expected for nearly €100 for four people in February 2026. The photos made it look much better than it was. Ceilings had been patched, and things throughout felt hastily put together. We couldn't shower because of mold everywhere, and had to rewash the dirty dishes before using them. The TV didn't work, and even after the owner came by, it still wasn't fixed. Upstairs there weren't two separate bedrooms. A canvas partition divided the sleeping area, with the double bed and two single beds all in one space, and the stairs were very steep. The toilet and bathroom shared a room with no lock on the door. The owner welcomed us warmly, but the place needs renovation to meet basic standards for cleanliness and upkeep.

We spent two weeks in August 2024 in the “Fort Boyard” loft and really enjoyed it. It’s very spacious and well equipped, with an unusual but pleasant layout for a family. The central location made it easy to explore the whole island, and we appreciated the warm welcome, service, and advice. Definitely worth a visit!
