We spent several weeks in this cottage while our house was being renovated, and we're so glad we did. The apartment is right in the center of Douai, with parking close by, and it has loads of character: high ceilings, moldings and beautiful doors, just like in the photos. We only needed to bring our clothes because it was so well equipped. Céline, the owner, is adorable and really looked after us. It's an ideal base for a short or long stay, and we don't regret it at all!

I loved the setting and the apartment's tucked-away feel, with tasteful modern comforts added to an old period residence. Céline Fontaine was so kind and welcoming, and I really appreciated that. The location suited me well too, within walking distance of the city center, with free parking.

A 10 out of 10, and a 20 out of 20! I was there on a business trip, and this apartment made it a real pleasure. It's quiet even though it's in the city center. The architecture is superb, with 4-meter ceilings, and the warm, cozy decor, comfortable furniture, good bedding and complete amenities make it suited to weekends or even a vacation. Everything is tasteful and very well renovated, and the value for money is exceptional. The welcome is so warm and friendly, just like the place.
