After two hours of trying to sleep, I gave up, left my wife in the room, and went to sleep in the car. The bed sagged in the middle and kept rolling us toward it. There was no air conditioning, and the room had a toilet behind a curtain, with the shower down the hall. With the window open, we heard the local dogs and a constant flow of cars. With it shut, every sound from the so-called hotel came through the paper-thin walls. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The mussels were really good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Had an excellent meal.

Clean toilets and fair prices, with good food and friendly people. Just what you want from a truck stop :)

It’s a shame the restaurant had to close, and they’ve even barricaded the parking lot.
