Hôtel de La Poste

Sadia and Lamin were wonderful hosts, so warm and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable, and everything was kept in excellent condition. You can tell they pay close attention to cleanliness and service. 💯👌

The trouble started when I forgot the front door code and rang the bell to get in at 8:45 pm. The patron and his partner then screamed hysterically outside my room and tried to assault me in my room, even though I was a paying guest. I think people should avoid this place. They seem very disturbed, and the whole experience was disturbing.

It feels like a home away from home.

I loved the generous breakfast and how clean the place was. The street gets busy, but with the window closed it didn't bother me too much. Sadia was attentive and flexible, and her human qualities really stood out. She even talked me through what to do for a late arrival over the phone, and found a safe place for me to keep my motorcycle overnight. The hotel has an old-fashioned feel, which was a welcome change from standardized, bland chains. It felt like the old days, with the owners running the hotel. I was very satisfied with my overnight stay and highly recommend it.
