La Part Entière

We were the first and only group there, and it looked cosy when we were seated with menus. Then about 30 local guests arrived in separate groups over the next 3 to 10 minutes. They were all seated and given menus, while we were left waiting and watched them start getting their food. A French couple next to us shook their heads when they heard what had happened. We couldn't get anyone's attention, so after 35 minutes we left, two adults and our two kids. We don't speak French fluently and we're from the Nordics, but the service was awful, the worst we've ever had. At least there was a kebab place in le Havre two hours later.

The food is honest and the staff are friendly, though service can be a bit slow. From outside, the place looks stunning. It seems geared mostly toward locals, and even though I speak French, I never felt fully comfortable there.

The staff were really friendly, and the place was very clean and tidy. The food was lovely without being too expensive. It had a mix of French locals and a few tourists.

The prices are fair, and both the food and service were excellent. I'd definitely recommend it.
