Patrice’s suggestions helped us discover Normandy and Brittany, including an unforgettable trip to nearby Mont Saint-Michel. By day, Auberge de la Sélune made a quiet base for exploring by car or bike, and in the evenings we could relax in its lovely garden. Patrice and Sandra made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. We spent a week here, and the clean, comfortable rooms added to the restful feel. The restaurant was another high point: fresh local ingredients, delicious flavors, and warm, attentive service. Every meal was a treat. It was a wonderful stay, and we can’t wait to come back.

We stopped for one night on the way south. The riverside setting and pretty gardens were lovely, and our room was comfortable. We also had a fantastic dinner. The car park was a little snug, but having an electric charger there was a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We’ve stayed here many times, and it’s always a pleasure to return. The owners are kind and helpful, and even brought supper to us on a tray. That was especially appreciated since the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday. We had a delicious dinner, and the hotel’s lovely garden and very good chef are part of what makes it such a beautiful place.

We liked the restaurant at Auberge de Selune so much last year that we came back twice during a two-week holiday. The menu is in French, but the staff take the time to explain it. Dishes use regional ingredients, look beautiful, and taste great. The menu is good value too. A clear recommendation if you want to treat yourself. We’ll definitely be back.
