Hôtel Le Glacier

A lovely little hotel. The room was basic, but the food and service were great.

The room was clean and pleasant, and I appreciated the toiletries in the shower. We were welcomed warmly. There’s a restaurant nearby, and the GR10 hiking trail is quite close. Breakfast was decent, though hikers can’t get packed lunches.

The person who welcomed us was very kind and pleasant, always a plus. The hotel is well placed in the resort, and the renovated rooms look clean and attractive for an older property. Honestly, it’s very nice. The rooms have no soundproofing at all. We had the “pleasure” of hearing the couple next door having sex, then their conversation 🫣. That’s really the only downside, but the rooms and service still seem below the price. We paid 120 euros a night for a weekend outside school holidays. It may be worth trying if you don’t mind being close to other guests and want to stay right at the foot of the slopes ☺️. I don’t think we’ll return, since the price-quality ratio is too high for my taste.

A cozy room and a generous breakfast for a very reasonable price. We slept really well at this lovely little hotel, which was quiet and peaceful. The manager was so friendly and welcoming. Thank you!
