Hôtel Restaurant Henri IV

We stayed one night at Hotel Henri IV while walking the chemin du puy. The location was great, and our room was simple, spotless, and just right for us. The staff really made the stay memorable: they were super friendly and helpful, got our laundry done very quickly when the local laundromat was ' en panne', and adapted the restaurant menu for our dietary needs. Plus, the resident border collie is gorgeous!

Warm welcome, great service, and reasonable prices. The rooms were super clean too. Great hotel.

We stayed one night in August 2023 while passing through on our Camino journey. The receptionist was awesome and very friendly. Even though we arrived early, at 10:45 AM, we were given our room right away, and all the staff were nice. Dinner and breakfast were very good. Our room on the first floor had been renovated and was superb, clean, new and very comfortable. I'm not sure about the other rooms. Also a great place to try Armagnac. You can't go wrong staying there.

The restaurant is a must if you're in town. We had a lovely dinner outside on the terrace, with great food, service, and atmosphere. The hotel is just steps from the main square, and the staff were fabulous, always friendly and helpful. Our good-sized room was quiet and spotless, with plenty of storage so we could unpack and put away our suitcases. It had a great shower and comfortable bed. The room had been recently refurbished with obvious care for the little details that make a stay great. We spent a wonderful, relaxing 2 nights at Hotel Retaurant Henri IV in June, and the room rate was great value for what you get. Highly recommended for both the hotel and the retaurant.
