I’ve stayed in some awful places before, but this was the first time I left one. The whole floor smelled of a chemical, like shoe dye, and the interior felt lifeless, with plastic items everywhere. The room door didn’t close properly, and everything outside the window looked very dirty. The village and lake might be nice, but I can’t really say. For a place that talks about being eco-friendly, this guesthouse was a horrible experience.

The attic has a wonderful room for games and relaxing. Outside, there’s a restaurant and a lake for fly fishing, all in a really picturesque setting. Amazing hotel.

Really cool.

The restaurant and its staff were the saving grace. The setting itself is beautiful and peaceful, without feeling cut off. But it wasn’t clear who the “owner” was, and the bed-and-breakfast setup felt unusual.

The apartments felt very old-fashioned, and I didn’t like that. There’s a river nearby for walks, but apart from that there’s absolutely nothing around. It’s really isolated.
