The grounds were lovely and peaceful, and it was easy to get into central Lyon using the frequent buses and metro. Our owners were thoughtful and very helpful, and even left the fridge well stocked and gave us breakfast on the first day. Everything was spotless and fitted out to a high standard, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable bed, quality linen and fluffy towels. The modern bathroom had a great shower, and we had secure private parking for the car. I’d highly recommend this place.

I spent a month at Les Communs du Manoir for work and ended up extending by another week, with a few days there alongside my family. Aimery and his family were incredibly kind and helpful, and the clean, new, cozy house made everything feel just right. It’s close to everything in Lyon but still wonderfully peaceful when you need to rest. I’d gladly come back soon.

The bed was comfortable, service was amazing, and the owners made me feel very welcome and helped with whatever I needed. It’s a quiet, lovely location, and being able to pick fruit whenever I wanted was a nice extra. I’d recommend it to anyone.

I spent a week there at the end of June 2025 while teaching an intensive one-week course at Central Lyon engineering school. Les Communs was conveniently located and reasonably priced, but I got much more than that: a peaceful place to rest, a lovely garden, and a host who was very welcoming. The room stayed comfortably cool through the heatwave, even without air conditioning. I also had a refreshing swim in the pool one night, on one of the hottest days of the year. I hope to stay there again if I get back to the Greater Lyon Metro area.
