Just outside Lyon, this is a lovely spot with nice rooms and a kind host. Breakfast was good, though at 15 euros per person it felt expensive, and it wasn’t available early.

Karine is a real gem. She’s warm, remarkable at her job, and so accommodating, always going the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable. We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Hautes Bruyères.

A lovely part of the area near Lyon, with trees all around, a huge park and, of course, the Baucuse Institute!

We felt right at home here. It’s great if you’re traveling with a dog, and a relaxing place to come back to after a long day in Lyon.
