Auberge Alsacienne

On my third trip to the area, I finally stayed here, and I'll choose it again next time. The location makes it easy to explore Eguisheim, the room was very clean, and the price was quite reasonable. Parking nearby was easy and inexpensive. The staff were both professional and friendly.

The rooms are on the small side, but they have what you need. The restaurant is great, and the location makes it easy to walk around this historic town.

I've stayed here twice and will be back. The rooms are clean, the beds and pillows are good, and while they're not huge, they don't feel cramped. The staff are excellent and speak great English and German. Amelie was especially friendly and chatty, while still being professional. Thank you! Breakfast is worth having, with top-notch continental items and eggs you can boil yourself, though there's no bacon. You can't eat dinner here at the moment, which is a shame because the restaurant is lovely. There are plenty of places around town; I'd recommend Café Heuhaus. Parking is off the street and good. You drive through the archway shown in the photos to reach several spaces. It's best to book ahead, and when I wrote this it cost 7 euros per night. Morning deliveries on the cobbled street can start around 7am, but the traffic wasn't an issue at night. It didn't bother us since we were up at a reasonable time.

The village is lovely and has a relaxed feel, and breakfast was very good. The room, though, was already expensive and breakfast wasn't included. It was spotless, but noise carried through the walls: we could literally hear a neighbor snoring. The bed was small and a little too hard for us.
