The restaurant is second to none, and the service was excellent. The place has a special provincial feel, with rooms that are clean and modern while still rustic and charming. Highly recommend it if you're in the Colmar are.

I don’t get the good reviews. Just so you know, there’s no air conditioning, only a small fan. In July it was over 29 degrees at 10 pm. I hope you notice that before we did. I hadn’t seen the owner’s reply, and I didn’t just give one star. Now you’ve got it! As a guest, watch out for the attitude. If you’re unhappy about something, apparently that’s your own fault! Lol

The location was brilliant, just a couple of minutes from the village center, and the secure on-site parking was a real bonus. We stayed overnight to see the Christmas market before heading to the Black Forest. Our bedroom was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with good coffee-making facilities. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was extremely good, with plenty to choose from: meats, cheeses, eggs, pastries, pancakes, fruit and more. We’d definitely stay again when we're in Alsace. :)

Our room was quiet, clean and very comfortable, with fast WiFi. It had a large balcony with two chairs and a view of a stork nest. A big fence gives each balcony privacy. The hotel is affordable, right in the beautiful town of Eguisheim, and has free parking at the back.
