Le Clos Du Berger

We rented the large cottage for a week, and the outside space was lovely, unless the owner was watering her garden. Then everything got soaked and the children couldn't enjoy it. The owners were welcoming, and I hope they'll take these comments on board. At more than €1,300 a week, the place should be perfect. Inside, the cottage was badly maintained. The photos, judging by the barbecue area, must be at least ten years old. The small beds had no mattress covers, and neither did the pillows. There was a wardrobe with no handles and a broken shelf. The bathroom was cramped and moldy.

The chalet is appealing, but so many things are out of the ordinary: the electricity, plumbing, insulation and more. I've stayed in this lovely region several times, and this was the first place I've rented that felt so unsanitary. How can this even be possible? I'm posting to warn future travelers. Stay away! I have photos to prove it. PS: Madam owner, please think about your practices and improve the property. It hasn't been renovated since the 1970s. Instead of lashing out at every negative comment, try learning from them.

A comfortable cottage in a great spot between the two Sauze villages, with plenty to do or just relax. There are mountain views, greenery, sun loungers and peace and quiet, plus hiking, exploring, mountain biking and the Montana spa. The owners were warm and generous, always available and very pleasant.

An authentic mountain chalet, with a lovely view and a great location right where the hikes start. The hosts were friendly and discreet, and there are outdoor spaces set up for barbecues and relaxing.
