Résidence l'Atelier

Breakfast was a lovely start to the day, served in a small, welcoming room with organic milk, eggs, and muesli. The fresh juice made from Portuguese oranges was delicious. There’s plenty of public parking right outside, though carrying larger bags up may be difficult for older guests. The rooms were neat, with pillows in several shapes to choose from. This is a small hotel full of thoughtful touches, kept up with care, and the friendly owner personally welcomes guests and serves breakfast. It feels like a place still waiting to be discovered. The price is reasonable, and I’d happily stay overnight. My star ratings are always subjective.

Breakfast was generous, delicious, and made with organic, local products. The hotel is very quiet, the rooms are lovely, and the welcome was exceptional.

We came back after two years, this time as a group of five instead of four: two adults and three children. It was perfect again. The owner thoughtfully provided a high chair and travel cot, and was quick to respond by email or phone. The best place in the area.

The rooms feel elegant, with contemporary touches and an eco-friendly approach, and everything was impeccably clean. The furnishings are lovely, with a pleasant woody scent in the room. The owner speaks excellent English. In this small town, it was a welcome surprise. A varied breakfast of organic and artisanal products, along with the relaxed, friendly atmosphere, makes it well suited to either a short or a longer stay.
