Hôtel Enclos Des Pins

The Patron was so welcoming, and his cooking was wonderfully good. Our room was on the small side, but clean and well equipped, with very comfortable beds. The shower room was excellent and had a constant supply of very hot water. We know this quiet, delightful area quite well, and Erdeven is a great base for seeing and doing all sorts of things. We had a lovely stay at this charming little hotel.

The owners were very friendly and spoke good English, and the hotel had a lovely boutique feel. It’s well placed for visiting lots of good spots, though it’s not by the sea, which is only 2 or 3 miles away. The main D road, a supermarket, and fuel are close by, but we weren’t disturbed by them. We were there in early September, when the area was winding down for the season, but there were still plenty of things to do and places to eat. It wasn’t too busy, the weather was lovely and in the mid 20s C, and it stayed light until 9pm. I may well come back another year.

There was no hot water in the room, and breakfast wasn’t provided even though we’d booked it.

I stayed here a couple of years ago, and the place is lovely. You can walk to the nearest village, and there’s a large supermarket close to the hotel, plus a bike hire service nearby. The owners are incredibly helpful. They speak several languages, help you find your way around the area, and serve delicious evening meals. (Stefan?) is a skilled chef and host, and his wife is so friendly and helpful. There isn't really a bar, but dinner comes with a very nice wine list and some fantastic local aperitif. I recommend the Fine Bretagne. Stay here and you’ll surely want to return.
