Le Domaine du Moulin Foulon

We had a great breakfast, and the hosts were really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the comfort we needed. Such a quiet, lovely place to stay.

We arrived at 15:10 after cycling 120km, and the place looked beautiful. A thunderstorm was coming, with heavy rain on the way. Our rooms apparently weren't ready until 16:00, which was fine, but when we asked to wait somewhere sheltered, the owners refused. We couldn't stay on the grounds, inside the gate, or even in the garden shed. They left us out in the storm and told us to come back in 50 minutes. We went to find shelter and then got an email canceling our booking. The next village was 15km away by bike through the storm, and we were left out on the street in the rain with nowhere to spend the night. I've never felt so cheated. This was the most unpleasant experience I've had, with the most deceitful and antisocial host I've ever met. I'd tell everyone to avoid the host and hostess.

The breakfast deserves a special mention: fresh fruit salad, homemade yogurt, and freshly baked bread and pastries. We also got great tips for things to do nearby from the lovely couple who welcomed us. Domaine du Moulin Foulon felt like a real chance to unwind, surrounded by nature, beauty, and peace. I wholeheartedly recommend this bed and breakfast.

After cycling 120 kilometers, we were looking for shelter from the rain and thunder. Even though we'd booked a stay at this hotel, we were told to leave and come back an hour later. We understood that we couldn't get into the rooms before 5:00 PM, but sending us away, canceling the booking, and leaving our bikes outside the gate was just rude.
