Quick Palace Nancy

Neat and clean, and quite nice.

Comfortable, and clean.

The bed was decent and it was quiet at night, though the hotel was nearly empty. Still, the rooms feel dated and cheap for what you pay. There’s plastic, linoleum and carpet, plus a screen between the bathroom and the rest of the room that doesn’t give much privacy. The toilet privacy is a problem too. Water went everywhere when I showered, and the soap dispenser was broken. We were mistaken about breakfast being included. The online check-in voucher also had a fake phone number. When we called in the middle of the afternoon because the door was locked and the automated system wasn’t working, a man answered rudely and seemed annoyed that we’d disturbed him.

There’s lots of parking, and a nice grill restaurant right across the road where you can get something to eat straight away. We got a great welcome, and breakfast was tasty, even if the selection was limited. The towels smelled like wet dog, though. Still, it worked well for an overnight stop.
