The "Eagle's Nest" was a fantastic, comfortable holiday apartment, and after a week exploring all of Normandy in September 2025, I was always happy to come back to it. The panoramic view is hard to beat, and it's a great base for trips around the area. Good motorway connections meant driving up to 200 km in a day was no problem. Parking may take some care if your car is on the larger side. We'd recommend reversing into the backyard. The place seems best suited to people up to their mid-50s. Now we're off towards Brittany, with Mont St. Michel waiting 🌊.

We had such a lovely stay, from the helpful, friendly and accommodating owner when booking to the sad moment we had to leave. The charming loft felt more like staying with friends than in a rental. Everything was spotless and tidy, the kitchen had all the utensils we needed to feel at home, and the accommodation instructions were available in writing in both French and English. There's a small cardio area where you can enjoy the view, plus a cute rooftop terrace, just right for breakfast in the sun with the seagulls. The one letdown was the record player, which is just decorative (laughs). We missed the Airbnb review window and didn't write in the guestbook because we didn't want to be the last ones, so Google is our only option. We might come back someday.

Lovely weather in a beautiful village, though it was a bit crowded.
