Odalys Résidence Les Chalets d'Evian

We've returned every year since it opened, often twice in a ski season. There's a free cable car to Arc 1800, running from 8:30 am to 11 pm, and the resort works for skiers of every level, with four quite different ski areas and a connection to La Plagne. You can stay in the apartments or hotel, shop for groceries or rent, service, and buy gear at the ski shop. The hotel restaurant serves all three meals, and there's a pool with a sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, and small gym. I've rated it four stars because of a handful of ongoing annoyances. Kitchen items go missing and aren't replaced, and reported dead light bulbs stay that way. The street lights on the last stretch of road to the complex have been out for at least three years. English TV was promised but never arrived, and the internet often doesn't work. Even so, it's a great place to stay in Les Arcs.

The location only works well if you're driving your own vehicle. It's disappointing that they don't provide a shuttle from Evian les bains.

A nice place, but very poorly equipped, with not even toilet paper. Feels a little 80's.

The staff were welcoming and really helpful, and the place made for an excellent, relaxing stay.
