Erawan Boutique Hotel

The house is beautifully decorated, and the bedroom was lovely. We also enjoyed the breakfast setting. The bedrooms have Thailand themed names, which is a nice touch. The bathroom and toilet, though, were extremely cold. We couldn't figure out how to make the bathroom into a hammam, even though it looked gorgeous. We arrived after dark on a snowy day, with it at -2 outside, and found the venue empty and locked. Trip.com hadn't let the owner reach us by phone or email, which was upsetting. After a few calls and some explanations, the owner and the neighboring business owner welcomed us warmly. Thanks to the neighbor for helping carry our heavy luggage up to the second floor.

The decor is lovely and the hotel is very clean, so it has those things going for it. But the square outside was noisy, and a group playing loud music woke us in the middle of the night. The hotel is surrounded by social housing blocks, and the soundproofing is poor. The door handle also talks every time you open the door, which is a very bad idea. With little contact or welcome when we arrived, the place felt more like a shared Airbnb. The hotel itself is really nice, but the area around it less so.

Inside, it's magnificent and decorated with exquisite taste. Outside, it's a real eyesore. And the “Boutique Hotel” label? Why call it “Boutique”?

We had a relaxing, romantic stay and found the atmosphere really pleasant. The staff were friendly and warmly welcoming, always ready to help with what we needed. The jacuzzi was spotlessly clean, which made our time unwinding even nicer. My sweetheart and I highly recommend this hotel for a quality getaway as a couple.
