hotelF1 Evreux Sud

I'm an Accor platinum member, with more than 5,000 hotel nights around the world, and this was undoubtedly the worst. How can this be an Accor hotel? It was dirty, dirty, dirty. I couldn't even get into bed, and didn't have the courage to try the breakfast that I'd already paid for. Too bad to be true. Never choose a HotelF1.

It was very cheap, but there are much better budget places to stay. The hotel was hot, uncomfortable and noisy, with no fan or air conditioning. The shared toilet wasn't in great condition and had nowhere to wash your hands. They didn't provide towels.

Several times during our stay, the sink drain in the room made a strong gurgling noise and gave off a sewage smell. We put the plug in to reduce the smell, but it still wasn't pleasant.

Honestly, it felt scary and very intimidating. My bed was unmade and had been slept in by someone else, the sink was blocked and full of urine, and breakfast was very poor. There was orange juice from an old carton, half-empty jam pots whose age was anyone's guess, no plates or cereal bowls, no towels in the room, and no soap in the showers. I only saw one staff member, who was indifferent and disappeared at 3:30 p.m., never to be seen again. The place was full to capacity with refugees, who I assumed were probably heading for the UK, and rubbish had been thrown out of every window. There was no security at all: the main door and car park weren't locked at night. I'll never use a Formula 1 hotel again.
