The young man on reception also handled the bar and our evening meal, and he was genuinely helpful and friendly. Still, we’d booked half board and there was no chef that night. Our room felt worn, and when we came down 15 minutes after breakfast began, there was no milk, though the rest of the food was fine. The staff tried their best, but I wouldn’t choose this place again. It doesn’t reflect well on the chain.

The management basically denied there was a problem because they couldn't find any bugs when they checked the room. That response makes it even more worrying, especially as I'm covered in bites. I was eaten alive by bedbugs. Disgusting, stay at your own risk. Their reply gave no excuse either.

Plenty of parking, good rooms, and lots of choice at breakfast. Nice place.

We were a group of 34 cyclists staying overnight at the Campanile. The staff really went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Nothing fancy, but it was clean and did the job for an overnight stop. Having a restaurant on site was useful.
