The jacuzzi had questionable foam floating in it, and the floor stayed wet and dangerously slippery. The sauna fits at most 4 people, and the steam room 6, if you don’t mind being packed in. We went home to wash properly. This spa is very small, rather dirty, outdated, and doesn’t seem well maintained. It falls far short of what it promises.

“Close and renovate immediately!” This spa is hurting the hotel’s reputation. In Switzerland, a place in such a dilapidated and unhygienic state would no longer be permitted to operate. Close it at once, and act in your own interest before a guest reports it to the ARS/DDPP. There are serious hygiene risks: possible bacterial contamination, especially Legionella or Pseudomonas; inadequate filtration or no records of daily water analyses; visible dirt in pools, steam rooms, or saunas; and mold in walls, ceilings, or ventilation systems. There are also structural and safety concerns, including loose or broken tiles, exposed edges, damaged grout that could cause injuries, damaged interior coatings in hammams, pools, or whirlpools, leaks or moisture that could threaten the structure or electrical system, and slipping hazards from a lack of non-slip surfaces. Technical problems could include defective lighting in wet areas and the risk of electric shock, insufficient ventilation that could lead to mold and moisture damage, and neglected or malfunctioning water treatment systems. Organizational issues include missing hygiene protocols, no rules for showers, barefoot areas, or disinfection, and no trained staff to operate the spa or pool.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. Nothing shocked me, and it didn’t seem much different from other spas I’ve visited. It’s a little small and very hot, but still a pleasant place.

The whirlpool is small, and with two jets running at once it foams up a lot. The jet shower was unusable because of the limescale. There was a large pool of water on the floor in the shared area, and nobody from the staff came to clean it. My partner and I booked a two-hour spa session last night. His locker was empty, with no bathrobe, towels, or slippers. The same thing had happened to another couple. When we reported the missing linens and faulty shower as we were leaving, staff told us to call reception. The receptionist acted as if they didn’t understand or know that the shower was faulty. They offered no compensation. This spa is overpriced, and I won’t be back. Avoid it!
