We had an amazing stay with Sylvain & Elizabeth from 30th June - 4th July. You were both wonderful and so helpful, going above and beyond to make everything fantastic. We can’t thank you enough. I’d highly recommend you to everyone, and I’ll definitely be back. If I could give you 100 out of 100, I would. Best wishes and love from Jenny & Sandra xx, 10 out of 10 all the way!

The bathroom was roomy and the room had a handy kitchenette. We stayed over Easter weekend with our dog while taking part in a nearby agility competition, and it was a lovely place to stay.

After a full day cycling in freezing, below-zero weather at the end of December, we arrived in Eymet desperately needing somewhere warm to stay. Sylvain had canceled our booking 90 minutes earlier, even though check-in was listed until 10 pm and we got there at 10:12 pm. We had booked a month ahead and explained we were biking, so couldn't give an exact arrival time, but had estimated 8-9 pm. We tried several times that morning to update Sylvain on our progress and got no reply. At first he ignored our messages, calls, and the doorbell. We were shivering outside, and only after we begged by text did he open the gate. Then came insults and threats, including “you're a pain in the ass,” “you're annoying me,” and “if you're not out by 11:00, I'm kicking you out.” We felt we had no choice but to put up with the outbursts, and the short stay left us deeply uncomfortable and unsafe. Sylvain's conduct was disrespectful, dangerous, and shameful. We strongly advise avoiding this guesthouse. Even if other guests have had good experiences, people should know about his volatile temper and how quickly he may erupt.
