Hotelf1 Geneva Airport Ferney-Voltaire

There was a lot of noise late at night and very little sound insulation. The bedding was thin for winter, and the rooms felt low quality. As a solo traveler who isn’t very confident, I didn’t feel especially safe, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room itself was clean and comfortable, though some shared areas weren’t as clean. There were also some shady looking people partying in the parking lot. I worried about my vehicle, even though nothing happened to it.

It’s an out-of-the-way budget place, and the check-in process dragged on awkwardly. In our room there was only a basin, and judging by the smell, it had been used as a toilet. Fine for a single bloke with no standards, but don’t take the Mrs there on your honeymoon.

The hotel is okay, but expensive for what it offers. Breakfast wasn’t even continental. It’s the worst hotel on the French side, in my view.
