Brit Hotel Figeac

The hotel is new and modern, with fast internet, and the restaurant was just as good. The staff were amazing and accommodating, with a personal touch that made it feel like staying with friends. Just keep in mind it’s a couple of miles from downtown Figeac, too far for an easy walk, so you’ll need a car to drive into town.

After our traffic accident, the manager came straight to help and arranged a breakdown vehicle. An English-speaking staff member was extremely helpful too. I needed emergency medical treatment, so we extended our stay, and the manager personally drove me to the hospital. I can’t thank the staff enough. Being in such a lovely hotel helped make up for what could have been a very different outcome.

On my next visit to the area, I’ll stay at the Comfort Hotel again. I’ve tried several Figeac hotels and was impressed by its large, modern rooms. The hotel was clean and new, and proprietor Mohamed Habib was gracious. He took the time to meet all the guests at the bar the night I stayed.

The owner, Mohammed, went out of his way every day to make our stay as good as possible. The hotel and restaurant are tucked away in the quiet outskirts of Figeac. I’d highly recommend it for a getaway.
