The owners were friendly, and the room was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was a small serving, though, and didn’t feel like a full continental breakfast to me.

What a warm welcome from Marie France and Thierry, and what a lovely example of bringing rural life back to the countryside. The place sits right by the river in a secluded hamlet, but the Limousin’s main tourist attractions are still close by. Our hostess shared her story of working with plants, horticultural and rural design, and raising sheep for eco-grazing. She’s also put together useful tourist information and gave us helpful tips on places to visit and eat. We found the stay truly enriching.
