We had a great time with 10 couples at Domaine de Matourne, making use of the house, pool and all the outdoor spaces. It’s a stylish, secluded place in the heart of Provence with room for a large family or a group of friends. We also visited Chateau de Saint-Martin nearby, owned by the same charming family, and enjoyed their remarkable wines. The caring local team can arrange tailored meals, activities and other services. Christelle is one to ask for. We’d recommend it wholeheartedly.

My family and I spent a week here last summer. It was peaceful and lovely, and we got to try their amazing wine and visit the winery. I’d absolutely recommend the place and the wine!

We held an executive seminar at Domaine de Matourne and found it comfortable, with a peaceful natural setting that felt refreshing. The grounds have plenty to enjoy: spacious master suites, a pool, sauna, pétanque court, shaded terrace with a barbecue and green areas. A chef can prepare generous gourmet meals, too. There are fireplaces in several rooms, plus a games area and a large lounge. You can also taste wines from the estate’s owner, whose operation dates back to 1770. Everything was in place for a very enjoyable stay.

We had a fantastic wine tasting, welcomed by the owners themselves. It’s a small family-run estate, well worth a visit if you’re nearby. We’d gladly come back and do it again!

I first tried this Côtes de Provence at the Merenda restaurant in Nice and liked it enough to drive out to the estate near Flayosc to buy some. It was a lovely Provençal drive, and the winemaker welcomed me warmly. The wine is natural and elegant, with excellent value for money. Laurence HDT
