Hotel Lons

The hotel is a short walk from the city center, so it was easy to get to the sights and restaurants, yet it stayed surprisingly quiet at night. Brigitte at reception and the rest of the staff were kind and quick to help with our questions. They also suggested some nice places to visit. My room was spotless, had everything I needed, and the bed and fresh linens were very comfortable. It was a really lovely stay in Foix, and I'd happily come back. The staff clearly care about their guests.

Breakfast overlooking the river was lovely, and the welcome at reception was warm and helpful. This family-run hotel is charming and well placed in central Foix. The rooms were comfortable, if a little worn, and our bathroom had been updated with a great shower. We'd happily stay again.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the shower was good. Our room was comfortable and the hotel is well situated, so it was a good stay for the price. It did get warm, though, and we had to open the window. There was also a strange smell in the second-floor hallway, and I'm not sure what it was. We were surprised there was no kettle for making a hot drink or bar fridge, though maybe that's usual in this part of the world.

We loved the quiet room above the river, with comfortable beds, a good shower, and everything clean. Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff went out of their way to help with parking, restaurants, and interesting walks. The Lons is right in the village of Foix, with several good restaurants just a five-minute walk away. The castle museum is a must. Other hotels around here are outside the village, so you'd be driving and looking for parking more often. Thank you!
