The Salicorne suite at Logis de Vallans worked perfectly for our family of four, especially since we only needed a single night during the first week of spring break. We were stopping halfway on our way southwest, and finding a family room for one night over the school holidays hadn’t been easy. The place has a genuine charm, with a quiet, leafy setting, and we were greeted warmly. Breakfast was generous and delicious, especially the goat cheese. A lovely stop in Deux-Sèvres, whether you're passing through or heading to the Marais Poitevin.

The breakfast buffet was really well stocked, and the gîte itself is wonderfully quiet. There’s a big garden with plenty of places to sit, plus a swimming pool. Our hostess made us feel very welcome and gave us great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. I’d happily recommend it.

Boubou the rooster is a character, wandering around everywhere and seeming more like a cat than a rooster. We enjoyed the pleasant pool and delicious breakfast, and the price felt very attractive for what was offered. We stayed one night while travelling to Paris. The owner is charming, though she may seem reserved at first. Since we had our baby with us, she gave us some instructions, which seemed completely normal to me. The place itself is every bit as charming. Thanks for everything.

We made good use of the quality loaner bikes and the boat, both really handy to have. The setting is beautiful, and the place was clean, welcoming, and well located. Aude was a wonderful host. Thanks for everything, I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The host was lovely, and the shared kitchenette worked perfectly with the family room. The house and grounds are gorgeous and very clean. It made for a delightful family getaway, a place we’ll remember.
