Residence Les Cimes

We were four adults for three days, and the stay went well. The apartment was spacious enough, well heated, and had decent equipment, with free ski storage. The owner responded to our requests, and the cleaning lady was very pleasant. Street parking and easy access were pluses, as were the two nearby equipment rental shops, shops 300m away, and the gondola lift an 800m walk away. A minimum stay of just two nights is a real advantage for this sort of ski accommodation, where longer bookings are often required. It could get a bit noisy, with footsteps on the stairs and sometimes sounds from neighbors. The cooktop is basic, but it works.

We came with friends for four days of skiing and snow. The view from our spacious third-floor apartment was lovely, and the beds were comfortable. It's well located, 2 minutes from equipment rental and 10 minutes from the tourist office and ski lifts. There was no elevator. Cleanliness was a serious problem: the towels we brought were a good idea, since the provided towels had suspicious stains, and the bathtub had stains and hair. Of the five outlets in the bedroom, two worked, including the one by the bed, which was a nuisance. The cooktop's indicator lights didn't work, so it wasn't clear which knob to use. It's a good apartment in some ways, but needs a few things fixed. For us, it was only suitable for sleeping, not spending time in.

The beds were comfortable, and the room had a large closet, dishes, and a microwave. The small balcony had a lovely view but no privacy. There's no elevator, and we heard everything from next door, upstairs, and on the stairs. We were on our own for check-in and checkout, didn't see anyone, and cleaned the room ourselves. For two people staying two nights, there was just a mini shower gel and a bar of soap, so bring your own. Flushing the toilet was awkward if you have long nails. When we called about a room problem, the person sounded haughty and unpleasant, though they seemed nice otherwise.

The owner was friendly and understanding, and the mountain view was beautiful. The location was excellent and the price was good for what we got. The main drawbacks were the small refrigerator and the kitchen layout, especially the electric hob. 7/10.
