Tip Hotel Cambrai

We stopped here for one night while travelling from the UK to Switzerland. The toilet and shower are shared facilities outside the room. Inside, we had a double bed with a bunk above it and a handy sink. The receptionist couldn't speak English, so we used Google translator, and she was quite helpful. It's a budget-friendly hotel.

The breakfast never showed up in our room, despite the form the friendly check-in lady gave us. We had requested it for 9:30. When we went to ask, nobody was there, so we called and were told to collect it from the ibis next door. They said we'd arrived too late because the buffet closed at 10, then poured us the worst coffee ever. We 'stole' a baguette instead. And that was just breakfast. The heating didn't work, the showers were gross, and the reception smelled like a dead body was rotting there. The website had shown a clean, basic 'hostel+' place, but the actual hotel was disgusting and nothing like what they advertised. The place was horrible, smelly, and worn out. F1 never again. Ever.

Clean and functional, though very basic. Towels weren't supplied, so we bought some. It was quiet while we were there, which made for a pleasant night. You'll need a vehicle to get into Cambrai.

The staff were friendly, and both the room and sanitary facilities were clean. I had a smoker room, but surprisingly it didn't smell like one when I walked in. Super done. Thanks for letting me stay at your Hotel. Keep it up. Goldberg,Abraham Shey
