We were touring the Flow Vélo route and only wished we’d booked more than one night. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and even let us wait past checkout while the rain passed. Our road bikes had a sheltered, secure spot for the night. The rooms were clean and spacious enough, and the grounds and building are lovely. Breakfast or dinner outside by the pool was a treat, and breakfast at 8€ per person is well worth it. A peaceful countryside spot just outside Saintes.

That uphill ride to La Brumanderie was worth it. We were cycling La Flow Velo and got a warm welcome from Valerie and Philippe. They kept our bikes safe and dry overnight, and when it rained in the morning, they let us sit it out over a good coffee. The pool was lovely, and breakfast was very generous.

We stopped here on the way from Spain to the UK, and it’s conveniently close to the motorway. Valerie gave us a lovely welcome. The room was comfortable, with a nice view, and secure parking off the road was a real bonus. We ordered the evening platter of meat, cheese, and fruit, and it was delicious. Breakfast was plentiful, with continental options.

The breakfast was spectacular, and the pool area was charming. Our room was beautifully decorated, and they had somewhere to store our bicycles. We only stayed overnight, though I’d gladly have spent the whole week here. The welcome was friendly, too. Everything felt just right.

A beautiful house, and Valerie was really nice. Everything was super clean and tidy, and the room and bed were comfortable. It’s private, but just a step from the golf course and close to Saints. The internet was good, breakfast was good too, and there was a beautiful dog.
