Hôtel Belesso

We didn't want to leave, so we extended our stay by 3 more nights. It was a beautiful place, luxurious without the snobbery, and the staff were very accommodating with our family. Our two chilfren loved the pool and games, and the food was excellent. A perfect get away.

The restaurant is excellent, with tasty French dishes given a Japanese touch. The Japanese chef is a master of French cuisine and uses good local products. Staff were attentive and efficient. We spent 3 days at this hotel restaurant and enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms are functional, and ours had a terras overlooking a beautiful garden and a big pool. Even if you aren't staying at the hotel, it's worth spending an evening here.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Belesso, a delightful family-owned hotel in a quiet, pretty village. The grounds are extremely beautiful, a private sunken oasis with a clean pool and shady trees. The hotel has old world charm that sets it far above most others, and the rooms are comfortable, with friendly, helpful service. My only concern was the air conditioning. The room would have earned 5 stars if it had been more powerful. The window shutters helped keep the temperature down, but I don't think the a/c would cope in a heat wave. In normal weather, though, I'd thoroughly recommend Hotel Belesso as a perfect place to stay, even with these troubled times of climate crisis.

We spent two days here over Christmas and would definitely recommend it if you're in the area for a few days. The staff at both the hotel and restaurant were friendly and accommodating with our kids. We chose the place for its proximity to Arles and the in-house restaurant. The family room worked perfectly for us, though the staircase up to the second bed/bath is steep. We couldn't use the pool or other outdoor facilities because of the season.
