The setting was so lovely that my husband, our 15 year old daughter, and I spent our last day right there instead of sightseeing. The pool is shaded, just right for the hottest part of the day, and the gardens looked like a photo, with roses in bloom and wind in the olive trees at night. Francois and Pascal were a joy to talk with, generous and full of tips about local sights and activities. Breakfast was delicious too. We stayed three nights and loved both the place and our hosts.

The rooms were spotless and fully updated, while keeping a traditional feel. Set in the countryside, this is also a working olive farm, which added to our sense of being in Provence. Francoise and Pascal gave us a wonderful welcome, from Francoise’s homemade preserves to Pascal’s excellent sightseeing tips, including directions to free parking. It’s a great base for driving to Arles, Avignon, Les Baux, and Nimes. There’s a lot to like at this B&B, and I highly recommend it.

It felt like staying with family away from home. Françoise and Pascal are caring, lovely people, and they know how to make guests feel entertained. Breakfast was fantastic, with homemade bread and marmelade, plus a different dessert or entré each day. A hidden gem in Provence, and one I’d recommend any time.

We arrived as ordinary tourists and left feeling we’d made friends for years to come. Francoise and Pascal welcomed us with that easygoing hospitality of a genuine Provencal home, and we’d gladly return to Mas d’Emilie whenever we can. We booked five nights but soon wished we’d stayed at least another week. Our Emilie suite was superb, and breakfast was a treat every day. Francoise made a different entrée each morning, alongside at least 15 kinds of jam for the bread. Our French and their English were both limited, but we got by with good humor and a camaraderie we’ll remember for years. Ask them about the guest who had Coca-Cola at breakfast and made sure happy hour started at 5pm. The hosts were wonderful, and we recommend Mas d’Emilie without reservation. Merci beaucoup, Francoise and Pascal!

A quiet, rural place that’s still not far from town. The rooms are spacious, attractive, and well cared for, and the owners are so helpful and lovely that we left feeling like friends. Can’t wait to visit again.
