camping de la mottelette

The site itself was acceptable, though close to the road. But after years of motorhoming around Europe, I’ve never had a worse experience with an owner. We stayed one night. On the morning we left, one man started strimming, then about 45 minutes later another arrived on a very loud ride-on mower and spent more than 90 minutes cutting the same patch around our vehicle. He drove over our power lead without cutting it, then unplugged us at 11:55, five minutes before departure time, without saying anything. At 12:01 he was gesturing and shouting “midi” to hurry us away. I explained in French that my wife was in the bathroom, but he kept ranting. We left at 12:10, just ten minutes late. There are plenty of other campsites nearby. I’d never stay here again or recommend it, unless you like rude, aggressive owners.
