We had a standalone villa with a private garden, roomy enough for our group of 13, and space for late night chats without worrying about disturbing others. There were big picnic tables outside and a stone BBQ. Parking in front was plentiful, and the beach was a 20-minute walk away. Bring your own beach gear, though, as they don't provide windbreaks, shovels, or umbrellas. The house was well equipped, with a free baby bed available on request, but it had no fans or air conditioning. The sound insulation wasn't great either, since I could hear people in the living room from the bedroom above. The park has more than 10 little holiday houses. We stayed in a large villa listed for 15 guests, with six bedrooms for six couples and a baby. Note that only three rooms have a proper double bed, two have single beds, and one has two bunk beds.

The house had a dishwasher, and the rest was really fine. The price and quality were reasonable, the sea was 2 km away, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. The sandy path to the house was muddy in the rain, so our shoes kept getting dirty. The owners might consider putting in wooden walkways.

The chalet was comfortable and very well equipped for self-catering. The kids especially liked the mezzanine bedroom, and the receptionist was lovely. You can walk to the dunes, beach, nature reserve, and town centre.

The staff at reception were really helpful, and you can rent bikes there. The wooden chalets are nice, with free parking at the park, and pets are allowed. It's about five minutes by car to the seaside. The chalet is listed for up to six people, though I think four would be enough.

A nice place for a short trip or vacation, and the kids loved it. Best to go when it's not really cold.
