There’s plenty to do nearby, and the surroundings are lovely. We stayed in the largest apartment, a charming little house with a beautiful old ceramic wood stove in the living room. Kate was a wonderful host.

We stayed at La Bergerie, which is simple and cozy, with everything needed to cook for ourselves. Just be prepared for a winding 20-minute drive to the nearest supermarket or restaurants. Kate was so kind and helped us book rafting and canyoning tours. We loved the quiet, the mountain views, breakfast on the terrace in the morning sun, and walks in the gorges. What a wonderful week. We stayed in the tiny place, and it was really cosy. The host was lovely and had good ideas for trips nearby. We saw nature in all kinds of ways, from summer to winter. We’ll be back.

Kate and her daughter, Emma, were so sweet and shared lots of local knowledge, tips, and ideas for things to see and do. Our cottage had everything we needed, and was clean, cozy, and full of character and charm. The old water mills and gorgeous cottages sit beside a picturesque stream, surrounded by the dramatic scenery in this part of France. It’s easy to see why Kate chose this property as her home. I’d love to come back.😁👍🇫🇷

Kate is a great host, and there’s plenty to see and do, from the Gorge de galimus to summer rafting. The facilities are excellent, and it’s nice and warm. A lovely stream runs through the place, cool at this time of year and refreshing in summer.
