We were so unsettled by the argument that my friend and I left, got back in the car, and booked somewhere in the next village. For the same price, we got separate rooms, two beds, and the kindest host. It started when I arrived and found a double bed instead of the two separate beds I always request. The host said I had only booked parking. I insisted the booking was for two beds, but he kept denying it, getting louder each time. He said there was no such thing as an extra bed and that I would have had to pay more if I wanted one. Feeling like I was being called a liar, I checked my phone, where the booking clearly said, “1 single bed, 1 extra-large double bed.” The host then shouted something so loudly that I couldn’t make it out and was frightened. He walked off, and his wife said that booking something doesn’t mean you’ll get it.

Fast, free internet too, over 75 Mbps. We stopped here on our drive from the south of France to the Netherlands, right around halfway, and it worked out perfectly. The room was lovely, and we had both dinner and breakfast. The service was excellent, and the price very reasonable. A great guest house if you want a good night's sleep without paying too much.

Even arriving very late after a 13-hour trip was no problem, the owners were especially helpful. The room was clean and nice and warm for winter. Breakfast tasted great, and dinner was simple but really good too. I also loved the baguette snack and the Black draught stout beer the owner offered me. Great job, friends, keep it up!

I only stayed one night, but the service was great and the rooms were really nice. There was so much to see on the drive in, including the walled town of Langres, so I hope I can spend longer in the area next time.

Linda & Yves made the Christmas dinner and stay excellent. It's a very cozy place, and the hosts were wonderful. Breakfast was good and generous, and there were plenty of parking spaces. Highly recommend.
