Our triple room was huge, with lots of space. A table or a sofa would have made it even better. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the hotel is near the beach in an excellent location. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s been completely renovated, so many negative reviews seem to be about the old hotel. We’d have no hesitation about coming back.

We were a group of 24 colleagues, and the staff were professional, helpful, and accommodating throughout. The hotel is in a great location and has been newly renovated, with beautiful decor in both the bedrooms and breakfast room. Fantastic place, and I’d definitely recommend it.

My wife and I had a wonderful four-night stay for the recent reopening of the completely renovated Ambassador hotel in Nice, FR. We felt we got very good value for the price. The hotel is two blocks from the beach, near the historic district, and just around the corner from several blocks of excellent restaurants. Four restaurants owned by the same group as the Ambassador offer two free drinks with a dinner order if you show your room key. Our balcony had a lovely view of the Medditeranian. The renovation nods to the property’s history, with ceramic Outlets, lighting, and furnishings that reflect it. The bathroom fixtures were lovely, and the shower was large and glass enclosed. We were lucky to meet the manager, Miss Loan, and front desk mgr., Miss Sorana. Ladies, apologies if I’ve misspelled your names. They were upbeat, conscientious, friendly, and quick to respond to a few requests. Breakfast was a full European-style spread for just $12 USD, with eggs, bacon, sausage, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, and more. There was also a great self-serve latte and esspersso machine. My one suggestion would be to make the egg and meat warmer hotter.

We tried another place near the harbor for three nights, but liked this hotel more in the end. The bed and location were just right, and we had a great three-night stay. I’d especially recommend booking a room with a balcony. There were two small holes in the shower glass, though, so water might get out.

The breakfast was good quality for the price, and the amenities were L'Occitane. We did find some bugs in the bathroom, which made things difficult. Apart from that, everything was great. The staff were kind, the interior and location both suited us, and I was lucky to find the hotel. It has only just reopened, so it isn’t well known yet, but I think it’ll get popular soon. If you stay in Nice, I’d pick a room with a terrace.
