The service really stood out. We came in for dinner and had excellent steak and salmon, with a homemade feel to the food. Thank you.

The people here were charming and knew their stuff, and the food was excellent. We were on a cycling trip and our hosts at the Chambre d'hotes de Sauviolle arranged an early meal for us at 18:00. It seems like the kind of place where the locals all meet. Highly recommended.

The service was friendly, but painfully slow. The food was worse: the salad didn't seem fresh, the entrecôte was tough, and the chicken breast was hard to identify. Fries came out greasy and limp instead of crisp. The Ile flottante dessert tasted pre-made; only the chocolate mousse was okay. It's unfortunately the only restaurant in town. On our bike tour, we should've just had a plat du jour at lunch.

The owner was so welcoming and kind, and we had a really lovely time. It's a pleasant, friendly place with simple food, served in generous portions that were delicious. We'll be back soon...

We left full and happy after a very convivial dinner. The €25 menu let us pick a starter, main, and dessert. I went for the Gascon salad, axoa, and crème brûlée. Everything was nicely prepared and generously served. It's a charming little village restaurant with a warm welcome and the option to eat on the terrace. Indoors there's a typical bar with tables and a pool table. The menu has a reasonable amount of choice and uses local products. A great place to eat.
