Olivier was very warm and welcoming on the phone, although he wasn't actually there. When we arrived, the room felt enormous, like a former dining room, with a very high ceiling. The photos didn't seem representative to me. There's no bathroom in the room, the kitchen is shared, and the rooms don't lock. The door handle even comes off when you open it. We stayed about two minutes before leaving. Maybe it works for other people, but it wasn't for us. I gave two stars because the advertising felt misleading, and I didn't care for Olivier's reaction when we said we wouldn't stay. A rather unconventional setup, perhaps a bit too unconventional for us.

We stayed at the Bauhaus Saint-Pierre in May 2024 and were delighted with the Jack London room. It was roomy, beautifully decorated, and really comfortable, with a very clean private bathroom. The apartment is in a good location and communication was very quick. My partner and I highly recommend it.

Right in the middle of the historic center, this is a superb old stone apartment. Our large bedroom was beautifully decorated and had its own bathroom. The whole place is tastefully done, and the patio is lovely for sitting outside. We were given a very warm welcome, and it was easy to communicate with the owner. Splendid!

The rooms each have their own name, and mine was "Jack London." It's a guest room with a private bathroom and access to the kitchen. The old building has been renovated beautifully, with modern amenities and a terrace/patio. They reply very quickly to questions on WhatsApp, and were very friendly on the phone.

Olivier is adorable, and our room was really nice. A great find in Gaillac's historic center. I'd recommend it.
