Gan was a pleasant place to stay, and the view from our cosy, quiet room was beautiful, with the Pyrenees in sight. Our train broke down and left my wife and me seriously delayed, but Aurélie and Sylvie went out of their way to welcome us warmly and make us a delicious dinner. The service was so good I’d give it more than five stars if I could. Gan is also home to the central cave coopérative of the Jurançon wine region, which is well worth a visit.
