The room could use proper heavy curtains to keep out the sun and moonlight, as the ones there are transparent. Otherwise, it's a nice place, with lovely woodwork. The young couple running it are friendly and seem up to date.

We all had a very pleasant seminar stay at Moulin de Saint-Avit, where about twenty colleagues gathered. Candice and Orlane made sure we were well looked after and did everything they could to make the visit go smoothly. The place has plenty of charm, spacious shared areas and well-insulated rooms, and the food was delicious. There’s lots to do as well, from pétanque and the pool to the children's play area, table tennis and billiards. I highly recommend it.

Candice and Orlane took great care of us, sorting out meals and arranging activities without any fuss. We came with colleagues for a few days together and left very happy with our stay. The peaceful setting among nature is superbly equipped and made it easy to fully relax. ☀️

The meal service was a real treat. Orlane handled everything impeccably, with generous, well-balanced meals; the barbecue meat was delicious, and the palmier pastries at breakfast deserve a special mention. Claire, Axel and Orlane were all so pleasant and took great care of us. I also had a wonderful time at the murder mystery party Claire and Axel organized. The place feels enchanting and immediately like home. The house is huge, well-equipped and functional, and so well insulated that I was a little cold at night even during a heatwave. That week reached 36-38°C, but there was enough shade around the property to keep the heat from being bothersome. My room looked out over a small stream. The pool was very pleasant, though it got sun all day and only became shaded from 6 pm, despite the many trees around it. With all the vegetation there were also lots of insects and horseflies, so bring repellent. A couple of things could be better: some rooms smell a little musty, and the Wi-Fi struggles when about twenty people are online. I was also sorry the jacuzzi wasn’t available in summer, as I’d have loved to spend an evening there. Still, I had a wonderful few days at Moulin de Saint Avit for my professional seminar and would love to return if I get the chance. Thanks again for the warm welcome!
