The gîte is a separate, smaller house, and it had everything we needed: cookware, dishes, cutlery, a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The beds were comfortable, with good bedding, spare blankets and lots of towels. There’s a bathroom upstairs, plus a shower room and toilet downstairs. The lounge is comfy too, with plenty of seats, a big TV and hi-fi. We came for a week of relaxing in the countryside, and that’s exactly what we got. The huge estate is beautiful, with forest all around and horses, a pony, a donkey, dogs, a cat and lots of chickens wandering about. The pool is heated, though the bad weather meant it wasn’t very warm. We still enjoyed a short swim. The hostess was so friendly and helpful, and the town was easy to reach on foot, by car or on one of the bikes at the chateau. A great holiday :)

I really enjoyed staying in such an old place. The hotel is in an ancient chateau with a well-preserved interior, surrounded by fields and forest. It’s a peaceful setting, and the city center is about a five-minute drive away. The owner was welcoming, and breakfast was homemade, with fresh fruit and juice. A very nice hotel.

Diane and her lovely dogs made the stay a joy. She was ready to do anything to make us comfortable, and the service was fantastic. The place was clean and well located too. Incredible place, run by one of the friendliest people!

Diana and her husband were so kind and lovely. I fell in love with the place and the whole experience. Everything was perfect, and I’ll definitely come back ❤️

The rooms were comfortable, the food was great, and the location worked well for travelling to or from the Channel ports. Diana is a great host, and dogs are welcome.
