Sara was a very nice owner, and the apartment was excellent. There’s a view of Mont Saint Michel and the bay just around the corner, and it takes about 30 minutes to drive there. There’s a restaurant beneath the apartment, with a little shop and bakery next door. Recommended!

The cottage is seriously outdated. It’s not too badly equipped, but very little is practical or in the right place, and there are no convenient outlets. The floorboards creaked for much of the evening, and from 5 am we could hear early guests from the hotel in the same building. The showers can swing from 32 to 39 degrees Celsius in a second, and washing with a bidet shower feels like the 1960s. There’s mold and other deterioration around, and it needs a thorough clean. I think the owners should invest in the building and add toilets upstairs near the bedrooms. Still, the place did help us disconnect in the end. We stayed in the street-facing cottage. There was no private garden, which mattered to us, and a busy road ran just 50 cm from the front door. We couldn’t leave the children alone there, even at 8 and 10, since their 2-year-old brother was always following. Wi-Fi didn’t work even after we reported it. The contact person, "Sarah," was very nice, though. The setting is lovely, with a bakery and grocery store only two houses away. Both were high quality, and the shop was run by a super friendly, helpful couple. There’s also a very good restaurant with an idyllic setting and a well laid out back terrace. It’s a bit pricey, but a nice place to relax, even with children. I just wish the smiles had been more frequent. The 8.1 Booking.com rating is well deserved. We weren’t there for the business, and hope to return and see some changes. Nothing is ever guaranteed, so things need to be re-evaluated.

There’s a nice view and terrace, and the place is spacious. But it gets very, very hot, with so few windows. It needs more fans!

A pleasant place for big families or groups, with all the amenities close by.

There’s a magnificent view, but the place feels completely in the middle of nowhere.
